Construction Project Manager/Estimator: 

CRG Construction is a full-service General Contractor and Construction Management provider. We are looking for individuals with great work ethics and high performance standards, as well as those who want to progress in their career and become a member of our team.


General Responsibilities:

A Commercial Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.
  • Budgeting and Estimation: Work on cost estimation for construction projects, considering materials, labor, and other relevant expenses. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and finalize contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project specifications are met. Manage and coordinate the activities of various project teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project life cycle. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Timeline Management: Monitor project timelines and milestones. Take corrective actions to keep the project on schedule.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress and address concerns.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues that may arise during construction, finding practical and cost-effective solutions.

For the role of Estimator in commercial construction:

  • Quantifying Costs: Analyze project drawings and specifications to estimate the quantity and costs of materials, labor, and equipment required for construction.
  • Bid Preparation: Prepare accurate and competitive bids for construction projects. This involves determining costs, reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotes, and calculating the overall project cost.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis to identify areas where cost savings can be achieved without compromising quality.
  • Database Management: Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date cost database to facilitate accurate and efficient estimating.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather relevant information for accurate estimations.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
  • Proposal Writing: Prepare detailed proposals outlining the scope of work, costs, and other relevant details for client presentations and contract negotiations.

These roles require a combination of construction knowledge, project management skills, and attention to detail to ensure successful and profitable project outcomes.




  • 4+ years’ experience as a construction project manager.
  • Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Proficient with Procore (not a requirement but is a plus).
  • Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000+ per year

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pays per project when certain criteria are met.
